PlayStation Network Fully Back Online

After weeks of downtime due to the hack attack on Sony's PlayStation Network and much frustration, the PlayStation Network is fully back online with upgraded security measures. Unfortunately the data that was stolen from millions of customers will never be recovered. Sony has issued a new firmware update that is mandatory for all PS3 consoles and you will be asked to change your password as soon as you sign into your account. The good news is that you can only change your password from within your own console alone. Google Announces Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS

Here it is in all its glory, the new Google Android Ice Cream Sandwich, and it never looked so delicious. Google has also announced that is will put an end to Android fragmentation, meaning the new Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS will run on every single Android device from phones to tablets, even computers and everyone will always be up-to-date with the latest Android updates no matter what. Just like every current iOS device made by Apple. Google said it wants only one OS to run Android devices from now on, and that will be the new Ice Cream Sandwich. Google has made a great move that will be very beneficial to its customers by laying down strict rules for manufacturers that all new devices must be capable of running the latest version of Android for the first 18 months after they go on sale. Apple To Release Backlit Wireless Keyboard?

The latest rumor on an Apple product comes to us from the just released Thunderbolt-equipped iMac which apparently hints that Apple will release a backlit Wireless Keyboard, finally right? In the new iMac's system preferences keyboard settings, an option is found to enable "illuminate keyboard in low light conditions". This option was never available on past iMacs and Apple desktop computers. It's only available on Apple's portable 15" and 17" MacBook Pro. 

New Macs always bare an updates firmware and software which points to this actually being something very plausible. Once Apple releases the backlit Wireless Keyboard, a new software update will be available to other Macs in order to support it. A backlit external keyboard is a much asked-for product by Apple consumers. 

New Sandy Bridge Equipped iMacs Due Next Week

Rumors are coming in fast and hard about an imminent refresh of Apple's iMac line due as early as next week. AppleInsider reports that the new iMacs will be updated with Intel's new Sandy Bridge family of processors as well as the new high-speed Thunderbolt port which will replace the current miniDisplay port. Rumors also suggest new display sizes and better AMD graphics cards.

Google Chrome 11 Released

Google has released Chrome 11 with a few important bug and security fixes along with a new icon and text-to-speech functionality. You should already see this faster looking colorful ball sitting in your dock by now since Chrome updates itself automatically. Just to make things stick though, you should go to your Chrome's tool bar - About Google Chrome, and hit restart to finish the update. That's if you're using a Mac.

Nook Color owners will be excited to know that their colorful eReader has now been updated with popular apps such as Angry Birds, Flash for a better web browsing experience, full-featured Nook Email and last but not least, Android 2.2 Froyo OS.
