Apple Magic Keyboard & Magic Trackpad 2 Review

Apple Magic Keyboard & Magic Trackpad 2 Review

Force Touch is slowly making its way onto more and more of Apple's products, and now everyone can get a taste of this wizardly technology without having to purchase an iPhone 6s, a MacBook or an Apple Watch. That's because Apple's new Magic Trackpad 2 is actually an entirely redesigned external Force Touch trackpad for Macs. It replaces its predecessor with an even bigger seamless glass multi-touch surface that's clickable in any area and a long-lasting, built-in rechargeable battery. With the new trackpad also comes a newly designed wireless Bluetooth keyboard that Apple calls the Magic Keyboard, which also has a rechargeable battery and features improved scissor-style keys said to offer an improved typing experience. We took both for a spin and here's what we think about Apple's new "magical" input devices!

Twelve South BookArc (2015 Redesign) Review

Twelve South BookArc (2015 Redesign) Review

Where do you put your MacBook when you're not using it? Do you put it back into your laptop sleeve, bag, or off to the side where it takes up valuable desk space in disarray? If headphones have headphone stands, why shouldn't MacBooks have a desk companion too. Unless you're new to Macs or have been living under a rock for the past few years, there's one very such thing. It's called BookArc - a beautifully crafted piece of anodized aluminum made to compliment any MacBook whilst proudly presenting it by vertically elevating it off of your desk. And this one is the much improved version of the original winning recipe.

While this newly redesigned version of Twelve South's BookArc continues serving its original purpose of providing users an organized and efficient way of using their MacBook in a closed-display mode (aka clamshell mode) with an external display setup, it also offers a few other improvements we think are worth taking a another look at.

Bluelounge Soba Review

Bluelounge Soba Review

Bluelounge's newest offering is a yet another stylish organizer in the form of a cable sleeve router. The Soba, as Bluelounge calls it, is a lengthy sleeve tubing made out of a braided nylon fabric material that can expand to fit a mixture of power and data cables while auto-coiling all on its own to snuggly bind your cables into one resilient loom using a so-called Vortex technology in an attempt to rid you from that awful-looking cable clutter lurking behind or underneath your desk in arguably the most professional way possible. While not the first of its kind, the Soba is the most aesthetically pleasing cable routing solution we've seen yet. But is it also the most effective and least frustrating be-all and end-all cable management accessory? Be sure to catch our full review down below to find out!

Thule Attache Hard Shell Case for MacBook Pro Review

Thule Attache Hard Shell Case for MacBook Pro Review

Back when we first took a look at Thule's $50 Gauntlet rugged and protective sleeve for the MacBook Pro, it lefts us so impressed that we gave it our Editors' Choice award. Since then Thule has come out with the Attache, a more capable carrying case with just the same amount of hard hitting styling Thule oh so loves at a highly protective package. If you thought Thule's MacBook Pro sleeve was awesome, the Attache is a very promising addition to Thule's growing bag collection for portables. Is it a sleeve, a messenger bag or a briefcase? You'd be surprised to find out in the full review past the jump!

Moku Desktop Chair Wood Stand for MacBook Air & Pro Review

Moku Desktop Chair Wood Stand for MacBook Air & Pro Review

The Japanese sure do love their curves. Moku is a Japanese company that specialises in modern woodcrafting. Bending wood into curvy shapes is what Moku does best. Moku's Desktop Chair will make you think twice about going with the industrial aluminum machined stands that are so readily available and well, are so cold and lifeless to be honest. The Desktop Chair is much more versatile than other stands whilst keeping things simple and as minimal as a piece of white paper. There's more than meets the eye to this compact wood stand though, so jump over the hedge for the full review!
