Case-Mate Teases With iPhone 5 Cases

We previously reported that Case-Mate had put up a notification page letting its customers know that it'll have iPhone 5 cases ready as soon as the iPhone 5 will be released. Case-Mate has recently released its renders for its iPhone 5 cases and how they will look like on the radically redesigned iPhone 5. Is Case-Mate really desperate for some free coverage or does it really have reliable inside information as to the specific design and dimensions of the iPhone 5? Investing time and money in designing these iPhone 5 cases sure does look like Case-Mate actually have concrete information. From these iPhone 5 renders, it looks like the back side is designed similarly to the iPad 2 using aluminum. Case-Mate has since removed its iPhone 5 cases page. Rumors point out to an early October release of the much anticipated iPhone 5.

Apple To Release White iPod Touch 5G?

We've got our white and black iPhone 4s and iPad 2s, but where is our white iPod Touch?! Thankfully, we've got some hope with a brand new leak of what looks to be a white iPod Touch front screen panel that iFixit has leaked. September is fast approaching and that's generally the month when Apple refreshed the iPod line. At this point we don't know if Apple will announce a brand new and redesigned iPod Touch 5G, or only add a white model to the current lineup.

Next iPhone Design Pictured in Silicon Cases?

With September getting closer and closer by the day, we were expecting to see more rumors about the iPhone 5 design. With 9To5Mac getting pictures of a different, larger looking iPhone case this early on isn’t that unusual as it would be right around the right time for manufactures to start making cases. The case points out that the next iPhone might have edge-to-edge screen, a wider home button, and a slightly curved back like the current generation iPad 2. Hopefully we will find out what the true iPhone 5 looks like in a couple of months.

Could This Be The Redesigned 2011 MacBook Air?

What looks like a totally new redesigned MacBook Air graphic has been recentely leaked in between the cracks of all the rumors that have been circling around in these recent weeks. M.I.C Gadget reports that it got a tip from a source at Foxconn, the manufacturing plant in China that produces Apple's desired gadgets, and they believe that it is the real deal. From the pic, it looks like Apple has redesigned the hinge and the external enclosure quite a bit from the current 2010 unibody MacBook Air. Further more, who ever leaked the image has also said the new 2011 MacBook Air is thinner and much lighter. It would be typical of Apple making the MacBook Air even thinner. The pic only reveals one side which shows an SD card slot and nothing else. Apple is expected to release an updated MacBook Air very soon, but a total redesign wasn't really anticipated.

First Look At iSkin's Upcoming Vu & Solo Smart Cases for iPad 2

iSkin loves to leak a little of their hot new products just before they get released on their website. This time we've found out about iSkin's latest upcoming cases for the iPad 2 including the Vu case we've reviewed for the first gen iPad. The Vu for the iPad 2 now boasts a built-in kickstand for vertical and horizontal viewing. The iPad 2 version of the Vu case hasn't changed much in its construction and still features a semi-clear two-tone color scheme with soft, flexible TPU materials combines with hard polycarbonate.

For those of you with an Apple Smart Cover, iSkin will release a Smart Cover compatible case called the Solo Smart. The Solo Smart case is designed with similar materials as the Vu case for the iPad and iPad 2, but takes on a different shape and design combining soft, flexible TPU with hard polycrbonate for extra back protection. The Solo Smart case for the iPad 2 will be available for $50 while the Vu case for the iPad 2 will be available for $60. It's safe to assume that iSkin will make both cases available very soon in various colors.

Update: iSkin has announced that the Vu and Solo Smart cases will be available later this month.

Unreleased Motorola Devices Leaked Including Xoom 2 Tablet, Tracy XL Watchphone & More

Someone over at Motorola really messed up and exposed a few unreleased products on the Motorola Mobility website for just a quick moment while testing out the product page live. A big mistake as it turns out. Visitors at the time quickly screencaped and leaked the juicy images to Pocketnow which has already been contacted by Motorola and asked to remove the leaked images. Some of the new unreleased products from Motorola include the Tracy XL watchphone, Xoom 2 tablet pictured at the bottom left, Slimline, Targa and Zaha thin-profiled smartphones. More images after the break.

iPhone 5 Leaked Part Points To Redesigned Camera & Flash

As the iPhone 5 nears its official launch, parts of the alleged new iPhone 5 are starting to show up in China. This isn't anything new but we've seen parts of Apple products being leaked out on the internet months before the actual Apple product was revealed and while some were not real, many have been true leaks. This time we've got a leak of a white back glass showing a separated rear-facing camera and an LED flash placed to the far right of the camera. This would really make sense on Apple's part to improve on the flash capabilities and exposure. This ties in with parts leaked of a separated rear-facing camera and flash modules that have been leaked not so long ago pointing towards this leak being very possible. The iPhone 4's rear-facing cameras has an LED flash attached to it beneath the glass cover.
