Confirmed: Flash And Apps Update For Nook Color

Barnes & Noble officially confirmed the Nook Color reading tablet will soon get Flash and email support and new and exciting apps next month. Perhaps these new apps will bring the Android app store or Amazon Appstore to the Nook Color.

PS3 3.6 Update Brings Cloud Storage & Controller Battery Saving Feature

A new 3.6 firmware update is now available to download for PS3 consoles. The new update brings cloud storage to PlayStation Plus subscribers only and will allow you to back up your game saves data up to 150MB. In addition, you will now have the option to set a sleep timer for your wireless controller/s in order to save battery life.

The 5.0.4 update brings a few compatibility, stability and security fixes to Safari.

  • Improved stability for webpages with multiple instances of plug-in content
  • Improved compatibility with webpages with image reflections and transition effects
  • A fix for an issue that could cause some webpages to print with incorrect layouts
  • A fix for an issue that could cause content to display incorrectly on webpages with plug-ins
  • A fix for an issue that could cause a Screen Saver to appear while video is playing in Safari

Adobe Flash Player 10.2 Officially Out

Adobe released an the Flash Player 10.2 update for both Windows and Mac bringing a new feature called Stage Video API that promises to reduce the load on your CPU while viewing flash videos online in HD 1080p. You can hit the this link to download the latest Flash Player. If you're using Google Chrome, in your browser go to Chrome - About Google Chrome and you should be ready to install the newest 10.2 Flash Player by restarting your Chrome browser.
