Xbox Outs Modern Warfare 3 Xbox 360 Slim, Wireless Bluetooth Headset

We just thought you should know that Microsoft teamed up with the awesome folks over at Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games to bring you a limited edition 320GB Xbox 360 Slim all tricked out with the official Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 theme that includes both the console itself and two wireless controllers complete with custom sounds from the game. How sweet is that? A free one month of Xbox Live Gold subscription will also be included in this MW3 Xbox 360 bundle. The console will hit stores on November 8 with a $399 price tag with pre-orders starting as of today. Sony Slashes PS3 Slim Price

Great news for those of you who just got pwned by the infamous RROD, Sony has announced at their Gamescon keynote today that it's dropping the price of the 160GB PlayStation 3 Blu-ray packed model from $299, down to just $249 in the US and €249 over in Europe effective immediately.

Nintendo Wii U Won't Play Blu-rays & DVDs

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has confirmed that there will be no Blu-ray and DVD playback support in the upcoming Wii U gaming console. Why? Satoru Iwata explains:

Wii U does not have DVD or Blu-ray playback capabilities. The reason for that is that we feel that enough people already have devices that are capable of playing DVDs and Blu-ray, such that it didn't warrant the cost involved to build that functionality into the Wii U console because of the patents related to those technologies.

Well there you have it. This should hopefully keep the Wii U's price point down a little when Nintendo releases it in 2012. 

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 First Gameplay Trailer Revealed

The 3rd massive first person shooter game in the Modern Warfare franchise developed by Infinity Ward will be the next Call of Duty blockbuster game picking up right where it left off. Infinity Ward has revealed the first gameplay trailer of MW3 today and so far it looks like a Michael Bay production. The epic sequel will be released on November 8.

Nintendo Confirms Wii 2 Console For 2012

There you have it, Nintendo has confirmed its next generation gaming console that is set to release in 2012. Nintendo also said that their supposedly code named Wii 2 will be available as a fully playable demo unit at the upcoming E3 gaming expo in L.A on June 7. We can expect some awesome new features coming out way with Nintendo's next generation gaming console.
