NuForce HP-800 Headphones Review

NuForce HP-800 Headphones Review

Reasonably priced headgear isn't hard to come by, but if you're looking to get great quality sound then that can add up quick. If there's one company that specializes in good sounding audio products that are reasonably priced, it's NuForce. Although NuForce is well known for its highly regarded desktop and portable amps, the company makes some of the more audio-attentive, audiophile geared in-ear headphones on the market. Our recent review of NuForce's NE-700M/X concluded that they are a hard pair of in-ears to beat at the $65-$75 mark as they offered excellent sound.

NuForce's HP-800 are the company's first attempt at an over-ear headphone variant to join its acclaimed lineup of solid performing in-ear headphones - which the company claims to offer audiophile-grade, monitoring-class audio performance at a reasonably priced value. To a lot of us money is a big factor, and the question is can NuForce really deliver an affordable monitor-class pair of over-ear headphones? Can it once again deliver exceptional value for far less dough than the leading giants? You can count on us to give you the answer as we're going to be taking a deep and intrusive look at NuForce's HP-800 headphones.

NuForce NE-700M Sound-Isolating In-Ear Headphones Review

NuForce NE-700M Sound-Isolating In-Ear Headphones Review

Oh boy! Our good friends over at NuForce are at it again with a fresh new line of in-ear headphones just in time for the warmer days ahead. It seems NuForce blesses us all with superior products this time a year and it usually brings a smile to our faces. I was fortunate enough to have Nuforce send me out a pair of their latest noise-isolating NE-700M in-ear headphones. Not to be confused with the NE-7M in-ears, but if the 700m are equivalent to the older versions, we are in for a very nice treat. Big sound in a small package is what I am expecting from the 2013 version sent my way for review. What’s fabulous about Nuforce is their price point for these types of in-ear headphones. Coming in at under $80 sounds like a great value to me, so lets get right into this review!

Nuforce uDAC-2 Portable DAC & Headphone Amp Review

The Nuforce uDAC-2 is a portable high-performance USB DAC meaning Digital Analog Converter as well as a headphone amp all together in a tiny package. When I say portable I mean it's tiny enough to be portable but you cannot use it with your iPod on the go because the uDAC-2 does require USB power and does not have any batteries making it the best friend your laptop can have and saving you some desk space. Why do you need one of these you ask? Check out the full review after the break where I'll go over similar questions.
