4th Design T-type 3 Aluminum iPhone 5 Bumper Case Review

Premium cases made out of the sought after 13th element can end up costing you a small fortune, and for that exact reason these type of accessories must provoke excellence. We weren't entirely thrilled with how 4th Design's Blade 5 bumper case for the iPhone 5 turned out compared to its predecessor. Fortunately, 4th Design is back with another offering and this time it's playing it simple. Or should we say safe? Because the new T-type 3 is the same T-type bumper case we've reviewed for the iPhone 4S apart from a few design enhancements and careful polishing. Unlike the Blade 5, the T-type 3 bumper brings back the likable creature comforts in a minimalist design. Our full review awaits!

Cookoo Smart Bluetooth Watch Review

The Cookoo is a $130 watch that we've heard about not long ago when it made it's way onto the crowdfunding platform they call Kickstarter. Made by a brand called ConnecteDevice which is secretly developed by Bluetrek, a company that specializes in making Bluetooth headsets such as the ultra-sleek carbon fiber-made Carbon headset, the Cookoo is a smart Bluetooth connected wristwatch plainly cloaked under a minimalist analog watch face.

If you didn't get the memo yet, telling time isn't the main focus of this watch. Think of it as an extension of your smartphone that's worn on your wrist. The Cookoo is an iOS and Android app driven watch that pulls various notifications and alerts from your smartphone or tablet ensuring that you'll never miss an important call or notification; by displaying them on your wrist using visual, audible and sensory alerts. How does it compare against the other smart watches including the Pebble and the G-Shock DB-6900? Join us after the break as we go wrist-on with the Cookoo.

Mobee Magic Feet Wireless Charging Station Review

Mobee Magic Feet Wireless Charging Station Review

Inductive charging is a fast growing technology which conveniently solves a gearhead's most critical problem in life, low battery syndrome. Today, we'll be taking another look into wireless charging made possible by a Swiss company called Mobee. The name should sound familiar if you're a Mac user. And although Apple has its own respectable rechargeable battery solution using the old fashioned plug n' charge method to keep its line of wireless input devices up to snuff, it has yet to make the leap forwards with wireless inductive charging like HTC, Nokia, Samsung, Motorola and LG have. For a while now, Mobee has been there to fill that void of inductive charging withdrawals with its series of modern wireless inductive chargers.

The latest offering to come out of the land that brought us triangular chocolates, is the Magic Feet. It's Mobee's all-in-one inductive charging station to feature the company's magical Magic Charger and Magic Bar all bundled into one platform of wireless charging goodness, made exclusively for Mac users. How does it all pan out? Find out in our full review after the jump!

Element Case Sector 5 Aluminum iPhone 5 Case Review

In the past, we have put numerous aluminum machined iPhone, iPod touch and even iPad cases through testing. One case company stood out like a white knight in shining armor. Element Case is considered by many including us to be the best of the best when considering a case made from the 13th element. Elite cases like the Vapor Pro and Vapor Comp were truly a pair of groundbreaking offerings in the world of high-end protective iPhone accessories. Element Case went above and beyond with its latest hardcore case for the iPhone 5. The Sector 5 is an aluminum bumper-style case that tops off the amazingly curvy Draco 5 with its complexity and pure unadulterated awesomeness. If you were to tell us it was from another dimension, we'd believe you. So lock n' load, it's gonna be a bumpy in-depth review!
