It has arrived, Apple's fifth-generation iPad Air has not only been given a new light-sounding name but also an agile redesign that replaces the original bulky picture frame-like bezel design we are all familiar with ever since the inception of the first iPad, and those palm-digging tapered edges for a more utilitarian design. It weighs a single pound (0.45kg) and is 20% slimmer than its predecessor, comes in the new Space Gray color replacing the darker slate black supposedly due to enhanced exterior finish durability, and it's the best and most powerful 9.7-inch iPad the fruity company has ever made. But is that really a surprise? By now you must know everything there is to know about the iPad Air including Apple's refreshing new iOS 7. So here's our Lightning Review of the $499 16GB iPad Air model in Space Gray.Read More
When I first saw the Stump Stand, I'm not going to lie, I wasn't that impressed. It was a yellow rubber block that looked comical at best. I just could not take it seriously. Padlette is at it again, and now it's back at full swing with a brand new version of my favorite grip handle for the iPad and iPad 2 that we reviewed for both the iPad and iPad 2. Padlette's main focus is of course the iPad since there's no denying that it's the market leader in the tablet world. But even so, Padlette has made a few notable changes since we last reviewed its stretchy silicone wonderness that is the Padlette to not only work with the iPad and iPad 2, but with many other popular tablets currently on the market. I like the sound of that and you will to. Just how good is the Padlette, unofficially called V2 by us, you ask? Find out after the jump!
We've seen many stands for the iPad before here on Gadgetmac from very simple ones to very complicated ones. All of them share the same functionalities. It's not everyday you come across a stand that both exceeds your expectations while fitting the bill just right. The Nest by Bluelounge is just the right stand for all iPads including the iPad mini that is here to makes things a little better, if not much better. Check out the full review right after the jump as we take a closer look at the Nest stand.
The Elago P3 is another very solid aluminum stand for the iPad with a very elegant look. The P3 stand is made from a solid piece of aluminum to match your iPad in the best way possible. Some of the very important features a stand should have is the possibility to work with your iPad even if you've got a case on, because lets face it most of us have a case on all the time to protect out iPads and we don't want to take out cases of just to use a stand or any other accessory. I'm glad to say that the P3 does not disappoint and will work with most iPad cases which is just fantastic.
