Exogear Outs Exoclear Edge iPhone 4 Bumper

Exogear has started shipping their new Exoclear Edge bumper case for the Verizon and AT&T iPhone 4. It looks like a thicker version of the Pinlo Bladeedge bumper case but it also features a unique metal clip design that supposedly makes for an easy install and removal of your iPhone 4. In addition, the Exoclear Edge features an oversized port cutout to accommodate high-end headphones with larger than normal 3.5mm plugs. It's available in clear and semi-clear smoke colors for $24.95.

SGP Releases Linear iPhone 4 Case Series

SGP has released a new line of cases compatible with both the AT&T and Verizon iPhone 4 called Linear. SGP's Linear iPhone 4 cases are composed of 3 separate polycarbonate pieces, an upper frame, a lower frame and a back plate. The Linear cases are available in 22 different colors, totaling 66 different color variations. Each piece can also be purchased separately to make yourself a one of a kind colored Linear case. The Linear case can be purchased for $24.99.

Pinlo Outs United Aluminum Hybrid Bumper For iPhone 4

Pinlo introduces their first aluminum bumper case compatible with both the AT&T and Verizon iPhone 4. The United Aluminum Bumper is a hybrid type and consists of two parts, one part aluminum and one part PC plastic. Pinlo did not mention anything about signal but in theory this design shouldn't affect the iPhone 4's signal strength. The United aluminum bumper is available now in five colors for $31.95.

Deff Cleave, Well Designed Aluminum iPhone 4 Bumper

Could this be one of the most unique looking aluminum bumper cases for the iPhone 4? The Cleave bumper by a Japanese company called Deff looks like something designed off of a luxury sports car. It looks like Deff thought out just about everything and fitted the Cleave with dedicated volume buttons and even a silent switch extender and there are only two screws used to put everything together. There are even large cutouts for the dock connector and headphone ports to accompany most 3rd party accessories. Most importantly, Deff claims that the Cleave aluminum bumper does not interfere with the iPhone 4's signal because no contact is made with between the iPhone 4's antenna band and the Cleave bumper.

 

The Cleave is fitted with polyurethane sheets at all four corners to help protect your iPhone 4 against shock. It seems as though this could be the perfect aluminum bumper for the iPhone 4 but all of this comes at a price, about $110 to be exact. It isn't the priciest aluminum bumper out there like Element's Vapor bumpers. If you're not from Japan, chances are you will have a hard time getting your hands on this one.

Apple Making Universal iPhone 4 Bumper Cases

Apple smartly extended the cutout for the silent switch in order to make universal Bumper cases that would fit both the At&t and Verizon iPhone 4. Meanwhile, case companies are starting to make Verizon iPhone 4 only cases which will only be compatible with the Verizon iPhone 4 and that isn't a good way to tackle the situation. By doing this, Apple will lower the confusion with case compatibility with the two iPhone 4 models. Reports are that the updated Bumper cases are now being sold at Apple retail stores.

This case caught my attention, it's called the Glam Rocka by More. Thing. It's essentially a jelly polymer bumper style case for the iPhone 4 with a more interesting look. The pyramid texture on the sides looks like it would provide a decent amount of grip to your iPhone 4. The Glam Rocka is made to snugly fit around your iPhone 4 and it's available in five colors for $12.90, not bad eh?
