i+Case Offers Sleek Aerodynamic Aluminum Curves For The iPhone 4

Granted we've seen just about every aluminum iPhone 4 case and bumper that was ever created, but we just have to point out this one called the i+Case. It's an aluminum bumper made for the iPhone 4 and with the typical drill of it being made out of a single piece of a solid block of aluminum using a CNC machine and the same process Apple uses to manufacture their unibody MacBook line of portables. There's no doubt that the i-Case doesn't look incredibly good with its sleek curves that with all the rumors circulating around, may even presumably make your iPhone 4 look like an iPhone 5. We can't help but notice how closely the i+Case resembles the ever so popular Japanese designed Draco, aka Deff Cleave aluminum bumper we've posted about a while back and even reviewed. The i+Case does have less specially designed curves we'll give it that, and it even has dedicated machined buttons too. It might not have the cool name, however it sure does look promising at $65. It's available for pre-order in black, red and silver colors.

4th Design's Amazing 4th iPad 2 Aluminum Bumper Case

You're looking at what possibly is the first ever, tue aluminum bumper case made for the iPad 2. Is it just me or does this look simply stunning? The 4th aluminum bumper for the iPad 2 is made by the same designers who created the favorable Blade aluminum bumper for the iPhone 4 called 4th Design, which are known for their precision and close attention to detail. The 4th aluminum bumper for the iPad 2 is sand blasted for that matte finished look. Creating such a massive aluminum bumper for the iPad 2 is no easy task, but it looks like 4th Design has thought about just everything. The back is fitted with rubber, anti-slip corners so that the back of your iPad 2 won't get scratched up when you set it on a table.

Large cutouts were made to insure easy access to buttons and ports alike. And there are even silicone inner lining that were applied on the inside of the 4th bumper to prevent any potential damage and scratching from being made to the iPad 2's aluminum. This reminds me of ColorWare's Grip, a poor attempt at an aluminum bumper handle for the iPad. If you like the 4th aluminum bumper as much as I do, you can pick one up for $119. Plastic just doesn't cut it anymore.

Tiger Design Blade 2 Aluminum iPhone 4 Case Images Leaked

It has been a while since we first reviewed Tiger Design's most wanted aluminum bumper for the iPhone 4, the Blade bumper. The Blade has been one of the most searched for aluminum bumpers for the iPhone 4 on Gadgetmac. A truly successful aluminum bumper from a Korean company that has been faked over and over again ever since it was released because of its popularity. This image amongst others has surfaced allegedly showing the Blade 2 aluminum case for the iPhone 4 sitting next to a pink Blade bumper. We're not sure what the "4th" writing engraved on the back means, but it's safe to say that this is a Blade 2 prototype. Tiger Design is known for manufacturing CNC aluminum parts and they have created yet another unique and interesting looking case with the Blade 2.

Besides the fully closed back and a new removable bottom design of the Blade 2, Tiger Design as also improved the speaker channelling to better direct the sound towards you rather than letting it slip downwards. You might want to keep an eye out for fake Blade bumpers on Tiger Design's fake Blade list page, and while you're there you might catch the Blade 2 as well.

Update: Turns out this isn't Tiger Design's Blade 2, but rather the M2 aluminum slider case made by 4th Design. That explains the "4th" engraving on the back.

The Contour was designed with protection in mind. That's why Nex Design has designed it so it'll have moulded urethane inserts to isolate your iPhone 4 from impacts and a front and back lay-on-the-table design.

Hardcore Aluminum iPad 2 Case Made By LTD Tools

This has got to be the most industrial metal case for the iPad 2 in the world. This aluminum iPad 2 case is made by LTD Tools which are known for making some crazy looking metal cases for the iPhone. Its got an auto on/off lid feature that works with the iPad 2 and has a folio style to it that can be propped using the front cover as a vertical and horizontal stand while a smaller part of the cover pops out when you need a typing angle or if you wish to hang your iPad 2 on a wall. Hate that Apple slapped a speaker on the back of the iPad 2? LTD Tools' aluminum iPad 2 case has got the fix for just that with a slot for you to insert a business card into in order to better direct the sound towards you.

If you're into aluminum cases, this one might be an interesting contraption and it will set you back $140.
