Apple Teases iTunes Announcement for Tomorrow

Well what is Cupertino cooking up here? iTunes Music streaming from that North Carolina data centre? iOS 4.2 for iPad with AirPrint? The Beatles in iTunes? On Apple's homepage it says that "exciting announcement from iTunes" and that "Tomorrow is just another day. That you'll never forget." Who knows what Apple is doing but it looks like something awesome.

iPhone 4 Coming to T-Mobile USA?

Since for ever, people have wanted the iPhone to be on a different carrier in the US rather than AT&T, mainly Verizon. We probably won't see the iPhone on Verizon until they launch their LTE network and Sprint seems to be not interested in the iPhone. But what about T-Mobile? Well, like AT&T, T-Mobile's network is GSM so Apple will not need to put a CDMA radio in the iPhone. But they will need to change the 3G bands so it will work on T-Mobile's network.

Well on to the rumour. Cult of Mac is reporting that a "highly placed source" at T-Mobile told them that there is a 80% chance of T-Mobile getting the iPhone in Q3! I know, a weird time for Apple to release a T-Mobile version of the iPhone, and we don't know if this source is even credible or what it is based on. The biggest evidence of this actually happening, is the statement from Deutsche Telekom's CEO in March, saying that "the USA branch is hoping to get the iPhone later this year".

Apple Magic Trackpad Gets FCC Approval?

The mysterious "Magic Trackpad" that got leaked a day before WWDC, has apparently gotten FCC approval according to Engadget. This is because on the FCC approval database, there seems to be a brand new product from Apple that seems to be the "Magic Trackpad" that has been rumoured since the leaked images on June 6th.

A device known only by its model number A1339 is the culprit here, described as a "Bluetooth Device" used in conjunction with a MacBook without any associated filings for WiFi or WWAN networks. The ultra-rough label location diagram is definitely the right shape for the accessory, and what's interesting is that the test report was completed way back in October of 2009.

Another thing is that if you look very close at the leaked image of the device, there is the model number A1339, which means that that Engadget has probably got it found the right product in the FFC database.

The release date for the "Magic Trackpad" is unknown, but could be coming in the very near future given the timing of previous FCC approvals for other devices.

iPhone Coming to Verizon in 2011?

Well haven't we heard this before. The iPhone coming to Verizon. But now Bloomberg are certain that it is going to happen this time because of "two people familiar with the plans." Even though the iPhone will eventually come to Verizon, we never thought this century.

Bloomberg's newest rumour is very similar to what the Wall Street Journal said in March claiming that "a CDMA iPhone would begin production in September," and if this were true, it would give Apple, giving Apple plenty of time to make the iPhone's for the millions wanting to convert to Verizon.

Apple just told Engadget that they "don't comment on rumors and speculation" when they asked them for a comment. I guess we can only hope.
