Elevation Lab Anchor Under-Desk Headphone Mount Review

Elevation Lab Anchor Under-Desk Headphone Mount Review

Ever thought about treating yourself to a headphone stand? You know, one of those platforms with a tall hanger attached to a space-wasting base that you place on your desk to proudly show off and hang your headphones on when you're not using them. But if you care more about saving valuable desk space and less about displaying your on-ear or over-ear cans, there's an even better way of doing just that. The Anchor by Elevation Lab, the same company that brought you the hugely popular aluminum-made Elevation Dock for iPhone and recently the Elevation Stand for iMac, is a new under-desk headphone hanger that essentially mounts your headphones underneath your desk or any table for that matter. Unlike traditional headphone stands, the Anchor is purposely designed to put an end to headphone clutter in that it will hide your headphones away from plain sight, yet within a convenient arms reach all while freeing up more valuable workspace. Needless to say it's every headphone user's ideal desk accessory. Be sure to catch our full review on the Anchor down under!

Apple iPhone 6 & 6 Plus Silicone Case Review

Apple's next-generation line of larger than life iPhones have hit the market by storm. And our job is to test the latest and greatest in iPhone protection. It isn't easy picking a case for the hottest smartphone on the market when there's a overwhelming selection of cases to choose from. And if you want to play it safe, considering one of the official Apple-made cases for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is generally the easiest decision you can make when looking to protect your investment. Instead of releasing one case as it has for the iPhone 5s, this year Apple has released two cases for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus: one made from genuine leather and the other from a less premium silicone material. Both options mirror last year's iPhone 5s Leather Case design, albeit precision made to fit in with Apple's new rounder design trend of the iPhone 6. Naturally we were more interested in checking out Apple's new Silicone Case for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, which should appeal to a lot more users than Apple's more expensive leather variant. The question is should you encase your slick, bigger and better iPhone in one of Apple's silicone cases? You can catch our full, in-depth review down below to find out.

Sony SRS-X3 Portable Wireless Speaker Review

The thing about portable speakers is that while they make listening to music super conveniant and more social in a mobile lifestlye, most of the ones that you can actually carry around with you willingily aren't capable of providing a that low-end bass you otherwise hear when listening to a large speaker setup, which typically means you can't fit that kind of audio gear into your backpack or move it around as effortlessly as a more compact portable speaker like the $150 JBL Charge 2 and many others. We do know of one such device capable of delivering a convincing amount of bass while still being an extremely easy to carry wireless speaker, and that's the Bose SoundLink Mini. It wasn't until recently that we had trouble finding a portable speaker that was as small as the SoundLink Mini and that could also match its outstanding level of audio richness.

We're talking of course about Sony's SRS-X3. As of today, we think that it's Sony's best sounding portable Bluetooth speaker you can buy that's as moderately sized as many other highly popular and noteworthy alternatives such as the UE Boom, JBL Charge 2 and the Bose SoundLink Mini itself. Sony is clearly taking a jab at Bose with its similarly specced and more competitively priced SRS-X3 speaker. Can Sony's $150 SRS-X3 beat the more expensive $200 SoundLink Mini at its own game? Find out which of these can drop a more satisfying bass punch in our full review and comparison down below!

Logitech G502 Proteus Core vs. G402 Hyperion Fury Review

Logitech G502 Proteus Core vs. G402 Hyperion Fury Review

Logitech has recently come out with two new hyperbolical wired gaming mice promising speed, accuracy, agility and potentially unimaginable gaming performance prowess. The astonishingly futurist looking G502 Proteus Core (left) is Logitech's first weight-adjustable performance mouse featuring the company's advanced Delta Zero gaming-grade optical sensor capable of reaching super-human DPI levels of up to 12,000 without dreadful cursor acceleration, as well as an improved hyper-fast scroll wheel. And for those on a stricter budget, there's the new G402 Hyperion Fury gaming mouse. And although it does come with less premium features and a cheaper price tag compared to the G502, as its name suggest, the G402 is supposedly the world's fastest lab-developed mouse geared towards professional FPS gaming thanks to its gyro and accelerometer-enhanced Fusion Engine hybrid Delta Zero sensor technology, which is capable of tracking insanely fast hand movements of up to 500 ips without skipping a single beat. So which one should you pick? Stay tuned to our comprehensive comparison review after the break!

Magpul Executive Field Case for iPhone 5s Review

The case that we have been using on our devices for years has just recently been promoted to an executive. JDS Labs C5 Portable Headphone Amplifier Review

It's not every day that we get to review an amp. And if you know anything about headphone amps it's that they make things sound...a whole lot nicer. Much has changed since our review of the company's famous Altoids tinned CmoyBB amp from a few years ago. And in that time JDS Labs introduces a number of new and improved offerings including the C5, a portable headphone amp that's powered by Arduino firmware and built to audiophile standards with an explosive driving ability and great all-day battery life.

Forget about that inadequate, tethered mono headset that came with your PlayStation 4 console. What you should really be using is Sony's Gold headset.
