Just Mobile AluRack Review

Mounting your Mac onto an external Apple Display can be a challenging mission, unless you have the right tool for the task. And we're not talking about duct tape. Just Mobile is one of our go-to names for all-things Apple accessories, and its got just the thing. The AluRack is a brilliant piece of kit designed to mount any MacBook or large external hard drive onto the back of your iMac, Thunderbolt Display or Cinema Display. Just Mobile's AluRack is clearly not the first of its kind to offer this sort of mounting capability, as we have already reviewed a similar mount, albeit with a limited mounting threshold, by Twelve South called the BackPack 2. The more robust AluRack mount would be a better alternative for MacBook Pro mounting in theory, but is it any good in practice? Find out in our in-depth review below.

Boombotix BoomBot2 Portable Bluetooth Speaker Review

Rarely do we find a pair of speakers that scream their personality at us, but the BoomBot2 by BoomBotix just might be one of them. It's unlike anything we've seen before, and it packs an unique oomph that we can't help but notice. It's Japanese urban design that set these as one of the first portable speakers with as much character as sound in a portable package. Hidden Radio Portable Bluetooth Speaker Review

Over the years, we have covered a few successful Kickstarter products funded and backed by you, the consumers. Some were as promising as we had hoped, while others let us down. Backing up a certain Kickstarter product doesn't necessarily mean you'll be glad you did at the end. Today, we're going to be taking a look at Hidden Radio. A Kickstarter product so successful, it gathered in nearly $1 million.

Hidden Radio is such an incredibly unique product, you would never have guessed it was born thanks to Kickstarter. What is it? Hidden Radio is a wireless Bluetooth portable speaker that's intuitively designed with simplicity in mind. Don't let the future-esque design fool you though, because as the name suggest, there's a hidden FM radio built right in. An FM radio! Who would have thought an FM radio would make the cut these days with services such as Spotify readily available.

JBL OnBeat Micro Review

Apple's recent transition over to the superior Lightning connector resulted in quite a few now obsolete 30-pin dock connector accessories and frustrated early adopters. JBL faithfully beat everyone to the punch in releasing the world's first portable Lightning speaker dock. JBL's OnBeat Micro is a smallish speaker dock which features a set of powerful speakers for room-filling stereo sound, and a built-in Lightning connector that will work with the iPhone 5 as well as the iPod Touch 5. JBL took us by surprise when we reviewed its portable Flip speaker, which turned out to be astoundingly awesome. We've even considered it to be the best sounding Bluetooth portable speaker in the $100 price range. Suffice it to say the OnBeat Micro will not disappoint us in the sound department either. Logitech UE 6000 Headphones Review

Here they are, Logitech's mid-entry pair of over-ear headphones with active noise-canceling and pretty much everything else you could ever ask for. The UE 6000 are exactly the type of headphones you get when Logitech and Ultimate Ears bring together loads of experience and understanding in sound, technology and product design. These are Logitech's reasonably priced mid-level cans which sit right in-between the affordably priced on-ear UE 4000, and the more premium priced wireless Bluetooth over-ear UE 9000. With so many features and a wicked awesome design at a $200 price range, the UE 6000 might be our most favorite over-ear headphones of 2012. Lots more in the full review down below!

Eskuche Control V2 Headphones Review

Haven't heard about Eskuche yet? Neither have we, but you'll be glad you just did. The newly formed audio brand based in Los Angeles is apparently heavily inspired by 70s industrial design of audio equipment, and it shows. Eskuche's new Control-i V2 headphones are perhaps one of the first affordably priced headphones that I'm thrilled to be testing out. The Control V2 headphones are a part of Eskuche's latest collection of trendy headphones dubbed the V2 series which combine retro styling with modern urban characteristics. Padlette DeeTwo Grip Handle for iPad mini Review

Oh Padlette, that favorite silicone grip handle for the iPad of ours now comes in a new flavor. The DeeTwo (D2) is Padlette's latest silicone made grip handle designed to fit any ultra-portable 7-inch tablet like the iPad mini and the Nexus 7; arguably the two best tablets in the category. Once paired up with a 10-inch variant tablet such as the handsome iPad, there's no substitute for a Padlette. It really is one of the greatest accessories you can get for you tablet if grip is what you're looking for. Obviously it isn't going to suit everyone, but do ultra-portable tablets like iPad mini call for a grip handle such as the DeeTwo? We find out after the jump!
